Featured Project: Sinkholes at an Office Park
Bigman Geophysical was contacted by a commercial property who was concerned about the possibility of a dangerous sinkhole in the parking lot outside of a building. There were signs of pavement slumping, so we used ground penetrating radar to characterize the extent of sinkholes and soil disturbance.
The customer was thrilled to have clear, confident results detailing a series of storm water compromises across the property, and a potentially dangerous sinkhole that was forming right in front of the main office entrance. With low cost and thorough results, they could take the guesswork out of an extensive repair campaign.
